INSTRUCTIONS

1. You need a Google account (e.g. for Gmail, Chrome or other Google services). If you do not have one, please open it.

2. Software to install on your computer

​

a) CloudCompare (CC), link: https://www.danielgm.net/cc/

​

b) MeshLab, link:  https://www.meshlab.net/

​

c) Orange. Go to https://orange.biolab.si/ and download Orange (for Win 10 or Mac or Linux);                           

For installation instructions see https://biolab.github.io/datafusion-installation-guide/. 

Go to Options - Add-ons and install the following add-ons (Educational, Image Analytics, Text, Explain). NEW: Install also Geo add-on.

3. We recommend using two screens.

4. Worst case scenario. In case of severe technical problems with ZOOM use the alternative link to contact us via video: https://meet.jit.si/SUPPORT-FOR-DATA-SCIENCE-WORKSHOP

5. Support for exercises. To enable free communication between the participants we have organized a forum where you can ask your colleagues for advice, exchange files, images etc. The forum is open 24/7 and is accessible via this site. To enter the forum you have to first 'log in' with your Google account.

6. NEW! 32-bit Orange can be downloaded from:

Users of 32-bit Orange can not install add-ons.
